হ্যালোবেটাসোল প্রোপিওনেট এবং টাজারোটিন প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের প্লাক সোরিয়াসিসের চিকিত্সায় নির্দেশিত।

ফার্মাকোলজি

Corticosteroids play a role in cellular signaling, immune function, inflammation and protein regulation. However, the precise mechanism of action in plaque psoriasis is unknown. Tazarotene is a retinoid prodrug which is converted to its active form, tazarotenic acid, the carboxylic acid of tazarotene, by deesterification. Tazarotenic acid binds to all three members of the retinoic acid receptor (RAR) family: RARα, RARβ and RARγ, but shows relative selectivity for RARβ, and RARγ and may modify gene expression. The clinical significance of these findings for the treatment of plaque psoriasis is unknown.

সেবনবিধি

প্রতিদিন একবার এই লোশনের একটি পাতলা আবরন প্রয়োগ করতে হবে। শুধুমাত্র আক্রান্ত স্থানগুলিকে ঢেকে রাখতে এবং আলতোভাবে ঘষতে হবে। লোশন ব্যবহার করার আগে ত্বক শুষ্ক রাখতে হবে। হাইপোথ্যালামিক-পিটুইটারি-অ্যাড্রিনালকে (HPA) দমন করার জন্য ওষুধের সম্ভাব্যতার কারণে প্রতি সপ্তাহে মোট ডোজ প্রায় ৫০ গ্রামের বেশি হওয়া উচিত নয়। মুখ, চোখ এবং ইনট্রাভ্যাজিনাল স্থানে এই লোশনের প্রয়োগ এবং ব্যবহার করা উচিৎ নয়।শিশু এবং কিশোর-কিশোরীদের ব্যবহারের ক্ষেত্রে: ১৮ বছরের কম বয়সী রোগীদের ক্ষেত্রে এই লোশনের ব্যবহার নির্দেশিত নয়।

পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়া

Common: Redness, itching, swelling, burning, stinging, folliculitis, atrophy, peeling & rash.Rare: Skin ulcer, increased pressure in the eye, increased sensitivity of the skin to the sun & skin discoloration.

সতর্কতা

Embryofetal risk: This lotion contains Tazarotene, which is a teratogenic substance. In females of reproductive potential, obtain a negative pregnancy test within 2 weeks prior to initiating treatment and advice patients to use an effective method of contraception during treatment.Reversible hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis suppression may occur, with the potential for glucocorticosteroid insufficiency during or after treatment.Systemic effects of topical corticosteroids may also include cushing’s syndrome, hyperglycemia, and glucosuria.Systemic absorption may require evaluation for HPA axis suppression.Use of potent corticosteroids on large areas, for prolonged durations, under occlusive dressings, or on an altered skin barrier may increase systemic exposure.Local Adverse Reactions: Local adverse reactions may include atrophy, striae, telangiectasias, and folliculitis. If these effects occur, discontinue at least until the integrity of the skin has been restored. This lotion should not be used on eczematous skin, as it may cause severe irritation.Photosensitivity and Risk for Sunburn: Avoid exposure to sunlight, sunlamps, and weather extremes. This lotion should be administered with caution if the patient is also taking drugs known to be photosensitizers.Ophthalmic Adverse Reactions: Use of topical corticosteroids may increase the risk of posterior subcapsular cataracts and glaucoma. If visual symptoms occur, consider referral to an ophthalmologist.

গর্ভাবস্থায় ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহার

This lotion is contraindicated in women who are pregnant. There are no data on the presence of Tazarotene and Halobetasol Propionate or its metabo- lites in human milk.

সংরক্ষণ

আলো ও আর্দ্রতা থেকে দূরে, ৩০ ডিগ্রী সেঃ তাপমাত্রার নীচে রাখুন। শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে রাখুন।
